Hair Tint, Semi-permanent Dye or Permanent Dye?
Which product best suits my needs?
Hair Tints
Hair tints refer to dyes that rinse out and only temporarily tint your hair. Hair tints coat the surface of your strands, creating a new hair colour as they interact with your natural colour. They last between 2–10 washes.

Semi-permanent Dyes
A semi-permanent dye has an intensity between a tint and a dye. It can darken your natural hair colour and gently covers grey hairs. However, it cannot lighten the hair and rinses out after about 20 washes.
Note: Hydrogen peroxide (H2o2) is always required for intensive dyes.
Product recommendations:
Covers up to 50% of grey hair. Half of your hair can already be grey for this dye to be effective.
Mixing ratio: 1 part colour cream and 2 parts H2o2 (e.g. 30 g colour cream + 60 g Color Touch Emulsion 1.9%)
PROCESSING TIME: 20 minutes
Covers up to 70% of grey hair. If 3/4 of your hair is grey, the dye offers good coverage.
Mixing ratio: 1 part colour cream and 2 parts H2o2, e.g. 30 g colour cream + 60 g Color Touch Emulsion 4%.
PROCESSING TIME: 20 minutes
Permanent Dyes
Permanent dyes can darken your natural hair colour and cover grey hair. They do not wash out.
Permanent dyes completely cover your greys.
Product recommendations:
100% gray coverage: To achieve 100% gray coverage, the mixing ratio is always 1:1. All Koleston Perfect me + Pure Naturals dyes completely cover grey hair.
If you want to dye your hair a lighter tone, you have to use bleach. If you have untreated hair or natural hair, you can dye it up to 3 tones lighter.
